Queensland Adventure Tour

Land in Brisbane, Australia
Transfer to the hotel and relax. Soak up the Australian climate and the beautiful city of Brisbane. Take a walk along the river and picnic at one of the fabulous grassy public areas.
Day 4: October 15 Mon
Brisbane
– early start – you’ll be up with jet lag anyway!
Transfer to the airport to meet your plane and our crew. Check rides will be performed, Australian licensing approved and tour briefing.
Afterwards, wheels up and head south to Coff’s Harbour for the night. Welcome dinner tonight.
Day 5: October 16 Tue
Coff's Harbour, NSW
Home of a 36 foot banana and southern Humpback whales. Take a whale cruise, go fishing, or enjoy one of the Greg Norman signature golf courses.
Day 6: October 17 Wed
Lightening Ridge, NSW
Welcome to Black Opal country! Take a tour of a working mine, try your luck in the left over pile, take a dip in the artesian bore, or golf.
Day 7: October 18 Thu
Comeroo Camel Station, QLD
This 100,000 acre camel and sheep station has a natural artesian bore spa with constant temperatures of 44°C year round.
Day 8: October 19
Fri Longreach, QLD
You decide: Qantas museum or Stockman’s Hall of Fame. River cruise and sunset campfire dinner cruise caps off the evening.
Day 9: October 20 Sat
Undara, QLD
Walk through lava tubes formed by an ancient volcano. Careful, kangaroos will wander out of the bush to check out your dinner at night.
Day 10/11: October 21/22
Cairns, QLD
Sun/Mon Golf, scuba, rainforest, a crocodile park, and fishing all in one city. That’s why we stay here two nights. You decide what you want to do. We book it for you.
Day 12/13: October 23/24
Brampton Island, QLD
Tue/Wed Land on a tropical island! Take the remaining half of the first day to sink your feet into the blindingly white sand. Enjoy a sunset cruise and soak up the glory of the Barrier Reef Islands. You have the entire day on Wednesday to spend at your leisure. Scuba/snorkel, tan, get a massage on the beach, or walk the nature trails.
Day 14: October 24 Thu
Hervey Bay, QLD
If you missed the Humpback whales in Coff’s Harbour here is your last chance. Other options include fishing, a shark show, sailing, and just hanging out in this growing beachside town.
Day 15: October 25 Fri
Brisbane
Return to the airport and to our original accommodation located in South Banks. A Farewell Dinner is planned this evening. Be sure to try the Moreton Bay “BUGS.”
Day 16: October 26 Sat
Brisbane in the morning, the USA by nightfall
***Should you wish to extend your stay in Australia, we would be happy to organize any details you may require.
Included in the tour: All transfers, accommodation for 13 nights in 3 to 4 star accommodation (except Undara and Comeroo where higher star rated facilities aren’t available), loan of all documentation, maps, and necessities in relation to the plane, all main meals (with the exception of the occasional lunch), all cost associated with the aircraft operation including fuel and insurance. Basically the only things not covered are souvenirs and alcohol.
The base cost of the tour is $8500 with discounts offered for couples and non pilots.
Day tours in the cities of Cairns, Hervey Bay, and Coff’s Harbour are not included as prices and activities vary greatly. Basic amenities for Brampton Island are included; however, power equipment, scuba and other offshore activities involve a fee.
True Blue Skies would be happy to aid in the arrangement of your international airfares as well. These fares are based upon current airline rates and availability and are additional to the cost of the tour itself.
